Ontario Tobacco Control* Conference Objectives
- To profile tobacco control progress under the Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy
- To examine leading tobacco control initiatives and best practices in other jurisdictions
- To make tobacco a priority issue among health professionals and the broader community
- To highlight tobacco control research
- To link research, program and policy
- To strengthen the tobacco control network in Ontario
- To ensure issues pertaining to Youth, Aboriginals and Francophones are addressed and to empower all attendees with knowledge and tools to effectively engage in tobacco control
- To map the future course of tobacco control in Ontario
